Definition

A performer or performers are said to be unaccompanied when there are no instruments playing in the background.

Example

Listen to an unaccompanied cello playing Bach.

An unaccompanied bugle plays 'The Last Post'.

These singers are unaccompanied, just like 'Pitch Perfect'.
